Hi!! Thank you for being the sweetest 🥺💗 Okay!! SO, this one got spawned out of an ask that's been rotting away in my inbox for months (iykyk) and I've been wanting to write something for that for a while now so it's been sitting in my head and now half on paper.
Essentially the prompt is something along the lines of what would happen/how would homelander react if he accidentally hurt his SO.
This really shouldn't be long and I should just go and finish it but instead I keep getting distracted by other shiny ideas 😂
have the beginning:
It’s stupid. A little mistake—your little mistake—and yet he can’t stop it from weighing on him. Why? It wasn't his fault. Homelander’s hovering mid-air just out of sight outside your apartment. The air is particularly cold today. Just like you have been since the incident. The wind is lashing through his already dishevelled hair. He's washed the styling gel and spray long out of it, ready to slide into bed and sleep the strange feeling away. But your absence made the bed feel cold and the weight in his gut feel downright oppressive. So he reluctantly put the suit back on and flew out into the sky towards your home. If you so insist on causing a scene maybe he might feel better watching you sit in your own misery. His own wouldn’t feel so lonely then.
