He was always one of us . . . .
Bryan Cogman is rightfully being salty on Twitter about how HBO is handling Jaime/Brienne in this whole #IronAnniversary business...

BRYAN COGMAN: In the pilot, Sansa’s main function was informing members of her family and the audience that the only thing she wanted was to get out of Winterfell and go live in the big city and become queen—except a very different kind of queen than the one she ended up being. So Sansa’s storyline was always meant to have a note of triumph at the end, especially after all that she went through in the middle of the series. It was appropriate that she came full circle at the end. She was the only Stark left in Winterfell and leads the North into this new chapter. She’s the best hope for the North’s future.

It’s funny to see Bryan Cogman making super clear he is not faulting D&D or HBO for these Jaime and Brienne lists I’m hearing about, but whoever put the lists together.
I ask if the showrunners and HBO exes never made them a priority why the hell would someone assigned to making these lists see them as such?
P.S. He is not the Braime king to me. He respected the characters and the relationship more than the showrunners (low bar set there) but his avoidance of deeming them romantic at all costs makes me think he really did not understand the point of their story.
When the group project is so bad that you hide behind a classmate and your friend forces you to show your face anyway.
NCW - Why is it that the king, king Rob - I mean - Why that much cleavage? BC - The idea is that he just got out of bed. NCW - Oh really? Is that the idea? BC - They've been roused early in the morning- GW - But also, just look at him. Why not that much cleavage? BC - Wouldn't you wanna- GW - Why not? If there wasn't that much cleavage I would be asking why wasn't there more cleavage. That scene is perfectly visually justifiable to me.
