Smiling warmly at the sound of his lover, still slurred and raspy from sleep, Napoleon turned his head enough to glance at the other man, listing slightly towards the door frame, as as he stood half in and out of the doorway.

“What are you making so earlier, Cowboy?” Illya’s lips pinched at the corners in confusion as his brows furrowed. 

“Cookies, Peril, I’m making cookies.” Turning his head back, Napoleon continued to carefully press the cookie cutter into the dough and gently lift it back out.
