Concerning sigma (in bullet points bc i'm exhausted)

This contains spoilers for the last few manga chapters+the complete 5th season of the anime

Dazai promised. Dazai may be a lot of things, but he would not lie about something like that. He was also too calm after Fyodor's death for sigma too also be dead. Sure, he said he doesn't have any quips "today", but if Sigma had died - he would feel terrible, like he really was the monster and like he's failed yet another person. (Just remember his reaction when the man of the ADA's café was attacked in one of the earlier seasons. He cares.) This is a promise Dazai would never break.

Sigma has the answers to all the unanswered questions concerning fyodor (motive, life, ability). While I personally think it would be cheap and boring to just talk about Fyodor's ability and motive after he's already dead, Sigma still holds the key information that no-one else has access to.

That being said, Fyodor's death was incredibly underwhelming and I'm unsure how the ADA will get a better (better fit for the protagonists as well as more dangerous) villain/antagonist after. I'm afraid they'd all pale in comparison. Though Nikolai's reaction to his death was so well made, it was genuinly impeccable.
