I started college like 2 weeks ago and I thought about what the hunting dog's thoughts on like. college n higher education would be. cause if I suffer they suffer
now a lot of their thoughts would be pretty similar I feel. they went all pretty same routes in life and I would imagine that college wouldn't really be an option for them just out of life circumstances. 2 criminals and the rest are soldiers. odd lives djdjd
tachihara probably would've joined the military because of his older brother if things didn't go south (I mean. he joined a military unit but out of an ultimatum). teruko has only known battle and I feel like she wouldn't fit in anywhere else "normal." and I don't think tecchou really likes school that much.
jouno. is weird to think about. I think a lot of his character has to do with some insecurity. or i would imagine that it does. and I think that extends to his education. I feel like he either got none or very little education and dropped out early. he's not stupid, just leaning more towards street smarts than book smarts if that makes sense. I think it still bothers him that he never really got an education sometimes but it's like whatever djbdnf. he's more bitter about it than miserable
fukuchi is possibly the most developed thought. mainly cause he's the one where we know the most background on. SO. I think fukuchi likes to learn but finds it on his own. he never went to college and it's a little bit late for college now he thinks (he'd be like 50 once he graduates) and he has a comfortable life even if dangerous. he likes it. I don't think he puts a lot of value into college/higher education but that's mainly cause of his own environment growing up. being at the dojo it probably only focused on training and with him living in the countryside, a lot of people probably didn't have degrees. it's mostly hard labor work and you don't really have to have a degree for it.

for tachihara, i feel it would take him a while to find his place. he doesn’t want to be a copy of his brother, but he looks up to him. the military would probably conflict him a lot but i definitely see it happening had things not gone south for him.
teruko is still just a baby she needs to go to elementary school before anything else :( ugh she breaks my heart
as for tecchou, i feel he’s the type to be insanely smart in the topics he’s interested in while not caring about much else. we STILL don’t know how he joined the hunting dogs so 💔💔 maybe he was always prepping for military work since he is incredibly passionate towards justice.
i feel like jouno is naturally intelligent. he is always on top of anything he wants to be, both book and street smarts. his ability to essentially read emotions helps out a lot. since he wants to be respected and held in high regard i assume he would study a lot.
i agree 100% on fukuchi. he doesn’t seem like he ever tried for post secondary but likely was smart in his own element. i like that a lot
