1     If you could visit any historical period, which one would you choose? Hmm....A historical period where I wouldn't run the risk of being enslaved or scalped? Pre-colonial Americans, then.

2     Would you want to bring something back with you? What? The tribe's language, and culture, a hot boyfriend from the neighboring tribe.

3     Colour of your eyes? Dark brown.

4     Who was your first crush? I SERIOUSLY DO NOT REMEMBER! WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME????

5     What movie can you quote in its entirety? (or near enough) HAHAHA! THE FUCKING "FIGHT" SCENE AT THE END OF THE 2004 PHANTOM OF THE OPERA BETWEEN RAUL, THE PHANTOM, AND OL' GURL (CHRISTEN?). XD6     What is your favourite ice cream flavour? Chocolate is my least favorite, but that's as far as I can narrow it down. You never have just one ice cream fave. That's just madness.7     What is the farthest you have ever traveled from home? Florida. Not exciting at all. XD8     Name your biggest pet peeve[s]. Not enough space in the world for me to list them all. Hearing other men pee, hearing people chew, the sucking/choking sound when people deep throat, dirty bathrooms, my dad's entire life, when people have no respect for people with allergies, "reclaiming slurs," when epic movies or shows have zero diversity.9     What would be your dream job? Writing for Marvel or DC, or being Stan Lee's personal assistant. 10   Which day is your birthday? Wednesday--or at least I think that's what's being asked? March 19th? XD11   If you read fanfiction, do you ever look for stories according to tags and warnings? Which one[s]? YES. Tags are very important. A few favorites would be "explicit" "size kink" and "m/m" XD12   Random thing about your day. I've have Backstreet Boy's "Rock Your Body" stuck in my head alllllllllll dammmmmmmmnn dayyyyyyyy.

(or near enough) Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves from 1991.  We used replay every other scene with my sister when we were teenagers. We absolutely loved Alan Rickman’s sheriff. Especially his quotes are deadly funny: “That’s it then. It widens, than the colours change and I realize is an A bomb. In a few second, the world will end. I have always wanted to visit Prague. The pictures I have seen make it look like one of the loveliest places in the world.

From when I can reply to your post darling?? This feels goooood! I don’t expect you live in Prague. It seems to be so romantic:))

Come for a visit ! But cities with a dramatic history can be tricky. Prague will enchant you with its beauty and stories behind every cobbled stone but it will never let you to feel really free. It is not a city to start a light-hearted bright new life in. There are places here which can suck you into a  dark rabbit hole of and than spill you out afraid of ghosts. But if you stay on the safe side you will love it:).

Hee! You calculated the years, didn't you? ;D

So, summer of '98 is when the boys graduate. By this point, they've been together for a few months, but they're still navigating the boundaries of what they're comfortable with. Not just sexually, but also in terms of public displays of affection, and even just saying things like, "This is my boyfriend" (this is '98, after all - googling for information isn't a thing yet, and LGBTQA visibility in media has barely started).

Also, the below snippet actually takes place during the epilogue! :D

Summer, 1998

In the end, it isn’t hard to decide where to go for summer vacation.

They’d made a deal, after all; sealed it with a handshake, more than three years ago.

You win State, we go to the Jersey Shore.

Still, Tom thinks, as they half-walk, half-hop across the scorching sand—

He probably should have been a little more thorough in researching which beach to go to. 

“Tom,” Tommy hisses urgently. “They’re all staring at me.”

The corners of Tom’s mouth twitch upward. “Of course they’re staring at you,” he replies, ignoring his own discomfort. “You’re kind of hot.” Understatement. Total understatement. “And you’re currently shirtless.”

“Yeah, but—” Tommy says, then goes stock-still as two men clearly in their thirties – bronzed, muscular, gleaming – pass by, casting blatantly appreciative glances Tommy’s way.

He’s eighteen years old, Tom almost says, except he’s not entirely sure that would be a deterrent.

There are more glances and stares as they make their way toward the surf. Tom does his best to ignore it all, even though he can feel his ears going red, and keeps marching doggedly onward, Tommy trailing uncertainly behind him like a duckling.

They wade into the water in silence. Tommy jumps a little when the waves reach waist height, but Tom keeps tugging him along – doesn’t stop until they’re treading water, and no one else is in the immediate vicinity. Just them, the sun overhead, and water all around.

Tom turns to Tommy, smiling crookedly. “Better?” He asks.

“I guess,” Tommy says. He’s still casting one paranoid eye toward the shoreline, though.

Tom smiles wider. “I don’t think anyone’s vision is that good,” he says. “Besides,” he adds, swimming around Tommy in a wide circle. “Why’re you worried about those guys out there when I’m right here?”

It is, undoubtedly, a terrible attempt at flirtation. But it does the job in dragging Tommy’s attention away from the distant shore.

“Oh yeah?” Tommy grins. He waits until Tom swims back in front of him, then reaches out to grab him. Pulls Tom in close, so their legs tangle together and their hips brush as they tread water.

Tom’s mouth goes dry.

It’s not the first time they’ve touched like this. But it’s the first time they’ve touched like this out in public, and Tom can’t control the way his breath speeds up, or the way his heartbeat kicks up a notch.

“You got designs on my virtue?” Tommy asks, laughing, affecting an awful Southern twang on virtue. He lifts his hand out of the water and cups Tom’s cheek affectionately.

“Maybe I do,” Tom replies. Then, with far more cockiness than he feels, he turns his head, opens his mouth, and licks at Tommy’s thumb with wet provocation.

Tommy stops laughing.

The pairing itself is rather charming actually. I used to ship them too. The only problem I have is that I kept feeling bad for Eames and John Blake. It is like I stole their beloved and handed them to a substitute :(

YAY! :D I'll bouncing back and forth between the crime au, this one, and another, and cannot wait to post new chapters! X3
