“There is this culture where masculinity is defined by certain emotions, characteristics. I’m not fond of these expressions,” Suga tells me. “What does being masculine mean? People’s conditions vary day by day. Sometimes you’re in a good condition; sometimes you aren’t. Based on that, you get an idea of your physical health. And that same thing applies mentally. Some days you’re in a good state; sometimes you’re not. Many pretend to be okay, saying that they’re not ‘weak,’ as if that would make you a weak person. I don’t think that’s right. People won’t say you’re a weak person if your physical condition is not that good. It should be the same for the mental condition as well. Society should be more understanding.”

BANGTAN's Rolling Stone article is out, and the (safe) link to it can be clicked on here!
quotes/information from the article that i liked:
Not overly saturated, realistic, and honest in my humble opinion. Short talk about Butter, which is coming out in a week exactly.
bts' messages changing over the years, as has thier concepts.
and what namjoon sees that bts is doing in terms of breaking masculinity-focused barriers
yet i truly recc reading the full thing, it says a lot about bangtan's future, their thoughts, and what they have already done/accomplished.
Our prayers are with India, says BTS as country battles COVID-19
By Radhika Sharma
New Delhi, May 23 (PTI) "Let''s never lose hope." This is the message from the South Korean music sensation BTS to their fans, known as ARMY, in India as the nation grapples with the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
The group enjoys a massive following in India and is yet to tour the country.
Asked if there was a message for the ARMY in the country amid the pandemic, member V told PTI in an email interaction, "Our prayers are with India. Stay strong ARMY and let''s never lose hope."
The septet, also comprising RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook, recently released their second English single "Butter".
The groovy disco-pop summer track smoothly crossed 113 million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours of its release on Friday, besting the 98.3 million public views counter-mark for the band''s Grammy-nominated maiden English single "Dynamite".
In the run-up to the release of "Butter", BTS floated the concept art of the song which had a melting heart at its centre.
Asked what was the idea behind this single, Jimin (25) said the members were looking for a song with a summer vibe, something they could enjoy with everyone.
"We wanted a summer song that we can enjoy together with ARMY and everyone. And ''Butter'' was the perfect fit," he said.
"It''s a song brimming with the charms of BTS, so I hope everyone enjoys it!" V, 25, added.
The group is set to deliver the first on-stage performance of "Butter" at the upcoming Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), where they have yet again been nominated for the top social artist honour, the award they have been winning since 2017.
They are also nominated in the top duo/group, top song sales artist and top selling song ("Dynamite") categories.
In 2019, BTS -- the full name is Bangtan Sonyeondan (Bulletproof Boy Scouts) or Beyond The Scene, their English branding -- also became the only South Korean group to win the top duo/group award at the BBMAs.
It is a special feeling to return to the music gala after having such a memorable run at the charts last year for "Dynamite", their career''s first Billboard Hot 100 No 1 hit.
It is an honour to perform "Butter" at the BBMAs, said Suga.
"One of the most memorable moments last year was when we got our first number one song on the Billboard''s Hot 100 chart. So it''s an honour to perform ''Butter'' for the first time at the awards show that bears such a special meaning for us," the 28-year-old added.
Jung Kook, the youngest BTS member, said he hopes ARMY likes their act.
"As we always do, we prepared a spectacular performance for this year''s BBMAs too. So I hope our fans like it," the 23-year-old said.
Although the optimism of "Dynamite" was exactly what ARMY around the world needed last year during peak pandemic, there were other songs in the band''s 2020 album ''Map of the Soul: 7'' like ''ON'' and ''Black Swan'' that the group''s fans believed also deserved a nod at the Grammy Awards.
When asked to comment, group leader RM said while these awards recognise some of the most ambitious projects in music, not getting a nod at the Grammys or any other music awards "doesn''t mean that song is less valuable".
"''ON'' and ''Black Swan'' delivered a deep message that we held in our seventh year into our careers, and that itself is invaluable," the 26-year-old said.
Their label HYBE Corporation, previously known as Big Hit Entertainment, last month acquired American record executive Scooter Braun''s Ithaca Holdings, which is home to artists like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Demi Lovato.
Asked what surprises are in store for ARMY following this development, while nothing was decided yet, J-Hope teased that this partnership will open doors to many more opportunities.
"One thing we can promise for sure are amazing and unforgettable performances, so be on the lookout," the 27-year-old said.
Jin, 28, said like ARMY, he too was looking forward to more surprises.
"I honestly think possibilities are endless because all these things are not something that we did alone, but we did together with our ARMY," he added.
BTS debuted in 2013 and to mark their eight year anniversary, the group announced a special two-day event, ''BTS 2021 Muster SOWOOZOO'' in June.
Asked how the future looks for the septet, Suga said they want to stay together and continue making good music.
"We want to connect with everyone around the world with great music and stages, and keep going as a group," he added. PTI RDS BK SHD

why do they look so gulty....OMG I can’t
Why am I disappointed with jintro
I apologize in advance for my English, because it's not my native language. I don't want to offend someone, everything below is just my subjective opinion. I am a Seokjin stan, this post doesn't influence on my love for him.
I was waiting for something great, and I think I had every right to do it, because we have "serendipity" and "singularly", so everything should have been at least as the previous one and at most - more awesome, because it's the end of the whole era.
Locations. There are only two of them - the room and the street (?), where Jin is standing in the rain. Comparing with "singularly" we can see that there are too few of locations in "epiphany". Comparing with "serendipity" (that's also not a dance intro unlike "singularly") there are still too few of them. Why did bighit choose to make intro like this? They could present everything in the best possible way and preserve symbolism as they did in all their music videos before. They have a budget and all possibilities. I guess, the only thing they haven't is the time, but I'm not sure, because I'm not a director or a stage designer or a decorator. I just want to find the rationale behind this.
The shooting. As I told before, I'm not a director, but I can see very well, that most of the angles are too monosyllabic and boring. I do not see Seokjin, just a guy in a jacket, walking in the room. We can see him close-up only in two places - when he's standing in the rain and closing the certain, while in "singularly" and "serendipity" we saw even Jimin's and Taehyung 's heels. Seokjin is the visual of bts!!!!
Awful hair color. I'm not a specialist (maybe for video editing it had to be like this), but let's admit - the yellow color of the egg yolk is not the best hair color, although Seokjin looks great even with this nightmare on his head, but it doesn't mean that it was necessary to disregard this case. Seokjin is the visual of bts!!!!(2)
You can say that it was necessary for theories or for the storyline, but as I noted above, they shot music videos much more qualitatively and still maintained symbolism and armies still always solved all the riddles.
I didn't dig to all the details such as low qualitied rain. All the most important things are deduced into these three items. This is my personal opinion. Yes, it's a really great video, but not enough, because they had already done such an actual masterpiece as "singularly" or "serendipity". I believe that bighit having a huge budget (to be quite honest about it) didn't bother and did it much worse than they could. The song is wonderful as well as Seokjin's voice, but the video has significantly failed. Seokjin simply didn't deserve this. He has the right to have the same good qualitied solo project as the rest.
I literally was crying all these days and just have gathered all my strength and have expressed all my thoughts on this matter. I would be glad if you argued my position without aggression and politely explained everything to me and share your opinion.
