Fake Love Choreo Analysis

So I wanted to make a seperate thread for this, since my last one was so long. I’m just going to cover some pieces of the choreography from the Fake Love mv that stuck out to me.

First off, I want to talk about this because my mind was blown. On the day of the album mv and album release, my mom and I both brought up that some of the moves in the choreo reminded us of pictorial maxim or more commonly know; the three wise monkeys.

Hear no evil, see no evil, and speak no evil.

We talked about it saying, that covering the mouth could mean you’re trying to protect others. Covering the ears meaning you’re protecting yourself. To avoid hearing something you don’t want to. Finally, for covering the eyes, as we’ve seen as always been done by another person. So that could be someone trying to protect you from something.

Well, we were sitting down watching all of the interviews that’ve been posted within the last day or so. The last one we watched was one of the ones with ‘Access.’ At the end of it, the interviewer asked for a tease of what to expect and Namjoon talked about this exact thing. (Our minds were blown, we seem to be on the right track.)

Moving on, This shot reminded me a lot of BST, notice the covering of the yees is there as well.

These shots are most likely a nod to DNA.

Then we have the unwinding DNA strand in the beginning.

Towards the end, i believe it’s Taehyung and Jimin dancing in the middle. They link hands and face oppisite directions, much like the one move from DNA.

Though it’s subtle, at the very end, it’s like the other members gathered around the two in the middle. It looked like they linked their arms together, closing the circle.
