to me alpha could go either way. he has the protective nature of an oldest sibling, especially when he kind of inserts himself in reader’s business because he’s worried about her.

however i do love the idea of him being a middle child and this adding to his feelings of inadequacy, of feeling overlooked. you mentioned most/all of his family are omegas, and it might have been pretty shocking when his oldest sibling is the picture perfect omega, and then he comes out as this kind of awkward and permissive alpha. maybe that contributes to his insecurity about his alpha identity - he doesn’t really have a lot of heathy examples in his own family to look to, and he’s had to figure a lot of this stuff out by himself, despite having an older sibling. that would feel pretty isolating i think.

I think the fact he doesn't have an alpha role model really affected him as a person!!! he's the odd duck in the family, the one who cant really understand everyone else...
