The woman’s lips quirk up slightly at this news- both of them having the same day off? What were the chances? She’s not sure of how likely that is in normal circumstances, but Shanice can’t help but be a bit pleased at how well things lined up for them both- seriously, timing wise, they got the best combination. As Caeser takes her hand, she feels her smile grow a little, which was wild- since when was she the sappy type, huh? This was surely his influence, right?

“That’s great! I’m surprised you finally got a day off. I was starting to think you were a workaholic,” Her fingers lace with his as she talks, mentally going through a list of things they could do. She likes reading as much as the next girl, if not a bit more, given her sizable collection...but would that be a fun time for him? She doubts it. So, when the idea comes, she suggests it, without thinking. “I can take you out to eat some place! I always save my money up, so we don’t even have to go to McDonalds!”
