8.26.23 - bug doodles

This is the colored version of Unafraid, some promotional lineart I provided to Bubonicon for their 2023 convention. As I'm the Artist Guest of Honor this year, I had several opportunities to make art that features their mascots, Perry Rodent and his friend Terry. While Bubonicon can only make use of the uncolored work (they keep their printed material simple), there's absolutely nothing to stop me from finishing stuff off in my favored mediums. 😎

Perry's absent/purloined shoe is a running gag. One of the artists who helped develop the mascot decided that this would be A Thing, and it's been A Thing ever since. The weird angel wants to know what smells funny...

I made this with ink, watercolor, Prismacolor pencil, and gel pens.
