Seokjin ⤷ Seokjin seems like he would fit best with a partner who was an ambivert as he himself comes across as one; someone who isn’t too far on either side of the spectrum would, most likely, fit best with his own personality and there would be common ground on a handful of things. I also think he would like someone who was more inclined towards things like cooking, cleaning, etc., simply because this would allow for both a greater split of household chores as well as making his partner seem to hold more traditional values.
Yoongi ⤷ I feel as if Yoongi would want someone who could match his own energy, but was also more extroverted at certain times; he may need an extra push to go somewhere or do something and having a more outgoing partner would most likely help. He would also probably need someone with ‘thick skin’, mainly because he seems to be the type of person who’ll accidentally spout something more harsh than he intended at times and is generally more blunt. I think he’d need to make sure that his partner won’t be put off by this fact and their understanding of his personality is very important.
Hoseok ⤷ Hoseok would most definitely need someone who is either more outgoing or is able to handle his own energy, and personality, without getting too overwhelmed; he would need someone who could handle his highs as well as his lows. I think he may be afraid of pushing them away if they weren’t sure how to react to his own personality and energy, so the fact that they could understand and adapt to his moods is important. I also think Hobi would be more drawn to someone who is more touch oriented, and, although he definitely wouldn’t be against a partner who wasn’t, it would help him become closer to them.
Namjoon ⤷ Kind, intelligent, and understanding are the three traits that seem to fit his ideal type the most. I think he would, first and foremost, want his partner to be kind, compassionate, and understanding simply because these are important traits for not only him, but most people; Namjoon seems to care a bit about self image, and the public’s perception of himself, which is why this seems to be more important. I think it would also be important for him so that he and his partner can try to work through their differences in order to avoid extreme arguments. He would also want someone who’s intelligent; this can be the traditional sense of intelligence or just someone who is very passionate about their hobby, skill, or job.
Jimin ⤷ Like Hoseok, I think Jimin needs someone who is considerably more touch oriented as that’s the main way he seems to show affection and affirmations with the ones he loves. It’s more important to him that they share the same love language because Jimin seems to be a generally affectionate and romantic person; if he wasn’t able to relay his feelings I think it would be a large issue. For some reason, I think that Jimin would also be more drawn to someone who is on the quieter side, someone that is more introverted, simply because I feel that he would prefer being able to sit in comfortable silence and that it would get to a point where words weren’t needed to communicate.
Taehyung ⤷ Taehyung seems like he would want a partner who is easy going, able to adapt to the ever changing world, and this would be very important for him; if his partner were against doing anything new, I think it would put a large block in their relationship. However, he may also appreciate someone who is more organized than him and I think, if they were somewhere between completely organized and completely free spirited, it would be a good fit. On top of this, Taehyung would most likely appreciate someone who is well spoken when it comes to emotions, someone who is empathetic and sympathetic, because he himself isn’t always the best at this.
Jungkook ⤷ I feel as if Jungkook, similar to Jin, would appreciate someone who is more of an ambivert, simply because he seems to be neither an extrovert nor an introvert; having someone to match his own personality type would be helpful for him and their relationship as a whole. I also feel like he would like a partner who has more of a ‘nurturer’ personality type and wouldn’t be uncomfortable being the more dominant one in their relationship; I don’t think he would want someone who’s personality is entirely like that, but rather has hints of it within their personality.
I see people requesting fluff but what about angsty fluff... like yn just missing the boys so much while they're on tour, and one day/night everything she's feeling just bursts out and she's crying while holding something she has from them (like a gift or their clothes or smth?), but surprise! The boys are home early. Whether they catch her crying, or notice she's been crying before she slept is up to you!! ... But please make the end fluffy?
