Behold: knives!⁣ ⁣ These are #Zhen 67-layer Damascus steel knives (except for the bread knife, which is inexplicably just regular High Carbon steel), with buckeye burl handles. I got the set of kits from @woodcraftgallery and some absolutely gorgeous wood from @daviswoodessentials. That buckeye burl on the grip of this holder looks a bit like the sky over Chicago this afternoon. I love the natural gray tones and grain patterns in buckeye. Such a cool wood 😎🖤🤍
