There are a lot of things I could say to fill this space and they’d all be both true and excuses. It’s been nearly a solid year but I think I almost have my medical issues under control, so I can go back to attempting to live a normal-ish, productive-ish life. I’m still filling my MTH auctions (they’ve been so patient with me) and after that I’ll be recreating Steve/Bucky doll shots. I haven’t forgotten about things, and I do consider them important and feel badly that I haven’t been able to deliver in a timely manner, so again I beg for forgiveness and patience concerning my persistent tardiness in everything from bookbinding to replying to comments and all the things in between. Thank you all for understanding, and I hope everyone is safe and doing well. <3

Only 8 days left to try and make the numbers. We still need 19 preorders! If we don’t manage at least 60, Bucky will not be made and it will be very sad and Steve might cry forever. The seller has gotten a first sample--consider it a first draft, so they can correct anything they didn’t like. As you can see, they’d like to lower the hair line, lower the ears, and bring the eyes a little closer together. BUT BUCKY CAN STILL BE A REALITY AND HE’LL BE SO CUTE, BUT ONLY IF ENOUGH PREORDERS ARE IN!

Hey guys! With December upon us, I’m reminding everyone that if there aren’t 100 preorders for the Bucky doll by December 30, it won’t get made. D: And that would be very sad because there’s almost no Bucky merch and certainly no WWII Bucky stuff, and Bucky Barnes deserves all the love he can get, dammit!

If you’re still sitting with this little dude in your Etsy cart thinking about him, please go ahead and click the checkout button. Only ones actually purchased will count towards the total preorders! Shipping is free worldwide and even though he won’t be here in time for the winter holidays, he’ll still be a great gift for yourself or a friend or loved one! He can sit and watch you make bad choices! He can encourage you while you do the impossible! He can be so adorable you want to die!

Bucky Updates

Soooo... bad news if you live in some countries: Korea Post is currently suspending standard mail delivery to many countries, including the United States. While EMS delivery is still open, the cost of sending from Korea to the US is about as much as the doll itself--approximately 30USD. The seller has informed me that the postal service returned all parcels addressed to the US. They are keeping an eye on the situation and will send again as soon as standard mail opens back up, and have said that they are incredibly sorry about the delay.

They’ll resend as soon as the service opens back up, but in the meantime please be patient while international postal services struggle to get things under control.

Also, as a general PSA, if you are ordering things from overseas, you may need to check if they have certain mail restrictions (many have priority or expedited shipping only restrictions). Similarly, if you’re sending to someone abroad, many services are either not delivering to specific countries or have limited types of service, as many systems are currently being overwhelmed.

Poor Bucky has poor timing. D: But he’ll get to you one way or another! Thank you to everyone for your patience in these unusual and stressful times, and please stay safe!

Bucky Doll Update!

Good news! If you live in the US or Canada, you will hopefully be receiving your doll soon! If you live in another country, it may be a bit more tricky, so please continue to have patience. Again, the seller has had to look for alternate carriers due to their country’s restrictions regarding outgoing mail, which is what is causing the delays.

In addition, if you missed out on the preorder (or know someone who did), they have listed the remainder of the Bucky dolls on their Etsy shop for purchase! Keep in mind that the preorder price included free shipping, but now that it is on regular sale, shipping will be charged (and can be a bit steep due to the change in carriers). Please check their storefront to make sure your country is available to mail to before you purchase!

Would you have any Bucky doll updates? I would like to ask the seller but maybe other people are asking the same thing?

Hey there! Tumblr didn't tell me I had this in my box, so I apologize for the late reply. I was actually about to post an update to say that I received my doll yesterday! It looks like the seller has managed to find a different carrier for, at the very least, the US. I've sent a message asking if they've sent most of the other ones yet, although I suspect they have. I'll post a longer update as soon as I hear back! If anyone else has received theirs, I'd love to know (and see a picture, if you'd like to post one)! In the meantime, I beg for your patience. Even if all of them were sent at roughly the same time, current delays in shipping can make transit times wildly unpredictable. I've personally had packages from the same location ordered on the same day arrive staggered over a course of two weeks, and that was from a place located in my own country.
