Darkwing Duck Writers: Salesman talk is too hard to write uwu 👉👈

You know, looking at Dry Hard, it just occurred to me that Bud wasn’t at all expecting Darkwing Duck to show up. He was definitely expecting a security guard, or at most, some cops, if anyone. He was not prepared to face a superhero, he did not get that memo, no wonder he was so surprised
He sabotaged his competitor in the bottled water industry and fucking Batman showed up to play
This took SO LONG TO FIGURE OUT BUT LOOKIT HE

You know, Bud was probably a door to door sales person before he was the CEO of his water bottle company. Because after getting bombarded by one today, it takes a mix of charisma and manipulation to get into people’s houses and take up 2 hours of their time just to talk about their product. Like, I can imagine Bud doing that so easily. Maybe not about water-- maybe he sold washing machines. But imagine him swooping in on more timid people and walking away with a bunch of money for a product he knows will break just a little after warrenty runs out.
In “Dry Hard,” DW tries to trap The Liquidator in the pipes. The Liquidator finds a leak and forms into an open-palmed hand... then goes through the trouble of unforming and reforming into a hand with a mallet.
So I want to think that for a split second Bud’s plan of action was just to smack the shit out of Darkwing, just slap him real hard as payback
