Buddie confession. how I see it
let's imagine that Buck knows about his feelings (actually after 6x1 I think so, he just not ready to admit it to anybody) or ok he will understand before 6x9. After the wildfires he can't sleep because he and Eddie were stucked somewhere in the woods and it was a miracle they found a way out and maybe him or/and Eddie were injured. He rolls from side to side, but then picks up the phone and calls someone: "Hey, sorry I know you were sleeping, but I need to see you. Please. Can I come?". The episode ends with someone opening up the door to him and Buck just saying"I love you". The hitaus . 6x10 starts with the interaction between Buck and Eddie, something has changed, but we don't know what. Then we see a cute (not really romantic but you can see how the dynamic changed) scene of Buck and Eddie at the Diaz house and there are flashbacks of this night:
B: I love you, Eddie. Not just like a friend. I love you so much, I don't wanna regret that I never said this. You and Chris my family. And I want you and him. I want to be a real family so much.
E: I love you too. I want it too, Evan.
B : I know that you love me, but, Eds, I... I'm a mess now. I'm not
E: ... ready. I know. But I still will be with you, like you were with me when I were a mess. until you are ready.
B: You ... can have my back any day?
E: You could have mine
B: Deal
Well, and then the Buck deals with his problems, goes to therapy. he and Eddie become closer as he works on himself, Eddie is his safe place but for now they're just expanding their family dynamic with no romantic or sexual relationships, but one day (end of season I think) Buck and Eddie are in the kitchen and Buck says "I'm ready". a sweet kiss and the season ends with a sweet date.
