Every single character in this game failed her because all of them saw her as either
-Humanity saver
-Sex object
-An chance to get revange
-An replacement to a death relative
No one saw her as a child , not even her' dad'
And now she has to raise an child on her own while not knowing shit about having a mom.
Closet thing to her being kid was her seeing her guardian get drug and lock her in a cave to be 'safe'
College Friends/INTERLOPERS Headcanons; The Second Helping
Today, on Ix's silly headcanons, more Deltarune College AU headcanons, involving the Interlopers!
Frisk is the sort to make the most...ass backwards, impossible meals that taste good....but you're shocked at how they were able to come up with such a thing, let alone that you survived eating it, considering you saw them melting a grab-bag of Monster Candy over a plate of burgers. Asriel, naturally, is a bit restrained, undoubtedly due to having to grow up around Kris and trying to be the good older sibling and ensure they had plenty to eat, but Chara can stomach it, mostly because Chara's got a cast iron stomach and can consume anything.
Buddy takes one look at some 'Glamburgers' Frisk whipped up, and outright declared that if they ever step foot in the kitchen while Buddy is cooking, that she's going to stab them and not stop until the next prep phase of their meal. It was, without a doubt, the angriest Buddy had ever sounded, that didn't involve some dipshits trying to hit on her, and especially towards Frisk, whom Buddy more or less treats as the annoying yappy dog that you can't kick away because you KNOW it's not the dog's fault it's yappy. Frisk has made it into a game of sorts, to see how far they can get into the kitchen before Buddy throws something at them. It's why the kitchen has so many extra butter knives, after all.
Buddy is very passionate about their cooking, as it's one of the few skills she can all but brag about that came 'from home' that isn't 'how to beat up dipshits' or 'how to outfight losers in tournaments', and while she'd RATHER just cook for her and Chara, the other two always end up hovering around and she detests people 'sharing' food when she could have just made more, so she ends up cooking for them more often then not, when she's in the mood to cook. One thing she's immensely passionate about, is specific flavor profiles, mostly coming from growing up poor enough that if she ended up not 'liking' a certain combination, she couldn't very well get 'more' food to replace it, so she's big on not 'wasting' food....though she's STILL getting used to the glory that is College food stores constantly being packed, ESPECIALLY since, considering how used to 'minimal meals' she is, she forgets at times that some people prefer leftovers.
On the other hand, she is extremely BASIC when it comes to pizza...with the requirement that it has to be whatever variant of 'New York' style, or such. Detroit style is fine...but pushing it. Chicago style pizza isn't pizza to her, and calling it such is likely to get a punch. Pepperoni with extra cheese. Never bring her to a 'pizza party' on campus, she will demolish as much of it as possible while still pulling off peak performance. (Chara has used this several times to sneer at a would be rival or such from another class or group, by inviting Buddy along to a party by way of free pizza and time with her, and then if someone tries shit, they get Buddy's hand turning their own into ground beef.)
Chara cannot cook, though if it's just a lack of knowledge, or just refusing to, she won't say. (Privately, she can cook 'fine', but she just likes the tingly feeling she gets when Buddy cooks her something because she knows it's how Buddy shows her love in ways other then physical methods.)
