Summary:

When a sudden blackout leaves May and Buck trapped for hours, the two find themselves getting a lot off their chests, and bonding over several important parts of their lives.

Snippet:

“Uh, I’m sure the power will be on again soon,” Buck says, turning off his phone flashlight, which he’d been using to illuminate the button panel, and pocketing it. “This will be over soon.”

“And if it’s not?” May asks.

There’s a moment of dark nothingness while Buck thinks. 

“Uh, well Eddie will probably notice when I don’t arrive, and when he can’t reach me, he’ll try Bobby. He knows I was here.”

“You were going to Eddie’s?” May asks.

“Yeah, he texted me during dinner. Asked me to come by.”
