What's up chat (spoilers in tags)
Just talking to my bff E and we came to the soul crushing realisation that if Assassinās Creed 2 had come out recently it would have ended up with two offensively expensive dlc packs - a.k.a. Revelations and Brotherhood.
LAST JEDI SPOILERS (YES I KNOW IāM LATE AF)
- My cousin and I have come out of TLJ with the firm belief that Rey is the twin sister of Ren.
- I want a crystal critter.
- I want to punch Ren a little less now
- Also: FORCE LUKE!!!!
The great movies are about heroes who stand alone fighting for what they believe in. Put Ian McKellan in Vulcan ears as Semark and Iāll give you a final scene between him and Picard that will resonate for years to come.
FADE IN: From Idea to Final Draft. The Writing of Star Trek: Insurrection by Michael Piller
So I'm reading Piller's book on how Insurrection became... Insurrection, and while there are a lot of really interesting ideas that were eventually thrown out (among them, Data becoming a superstar among other androids, and Picard punching out an admiral), this is the first one that I regret not getting to see.
For the curious, you can read the whole thing here.
