i'm rewatching the x files with my bf and like wow mulder was down horrendous by the beginning of season two, homeboy fully crashed out and fucked a vampire over it the second scully was gone. fucking wild stuff man.

I don't really write Rain all that much, so I don't have a full story for you, but the idea of sick Rain does bring a few images to mind! I wound up talking this over with my RP partner, and we came up with a few headcanons for you:
When Rain gets sick, it usually hits him pretty hard, and he needs lots of TLC from Papa and the rest of the pack to get him back on his feet
He gets dehydrated easily when he's not feeling well - his gills will get a bit dry and flaky, and his ears droop
One of his favorite ways to feel better is a warm salt-water soak
If he can't submerge himself in water, he likes to drape a damp washcloth over his gills to help him breathe a little easier

Okay but imagine you're on tour with vampire Perpetua - things have been busy and he hasn't really had a chance to properly feed in a little while. You're finally staying at a hotel for the night instead of the tour bus, so he turns into a bat and off he flies out the window to go seduce a victim (because papa would never feed on the unwilling!!). When he flies back in a little while later you can immediately tell that his eyes got bigger than his stomach by the way he crash-lands on your pillow, so he curls up on your chest and you have to use just two fingers to rub his lil tummy so gently and carefully until he falls asleep...

But it makes for a nice pillow!
Copia's belly is the perfect pillow! He's a little shy about it at first, but he very quickly warms up to the idea that his new softness can be very appealing...
