My game bugged out on PlayStation and somehow I was able to recruit Danse before I had even rescued Valentine. I did both the missions for Haylen and Rhys and accepted Lost Patrol, then was able to get him as a companion. I don’t have any mods that make that specifically possible, so I can assume it was a conflict. No unique dialogue (he does have location dialogue for Vault 114, which does make sense if you were ever to return there with him). He does have a few likes (telling Ellie you’ll find Nick and the charisma check to convince Darla to leave). He started his conversation normally had in Cambridge PD right there on the roof of Fort Hagen. Asked me to follow him to the roof to the vertibird and he took off. Fast traveled and he was waiting for me at the vertibird.

On the Prydwen, all went normal up until he finished talking to Kells. Instead of going inside, he hung around while I talked to Kells. As soon as that was done, he initiated the first affinity conversation. I am sure Kells just loved that.

He hung out in the back while Maxson gave his speech.

Then he sat his ass down and we had the tour chat. Sorry for the long post, but this was too hilarious not to share. One of the few times I was happy to experience a Bethesda bug.

I want to portray my Sole Survivor and Danse together, but unfortunately the FO4 Photo Mode mods are borked by the latest Bugthesda update.

Trans Rights - to Bear Arms

Starfield has a pretty funny bug, among a slew of other, equally funny bugs. The one I've just run into has a, um, particular fix.

In Starfield's uber-Progressive Spacefuture, HRT is probably ancient history. You probably use an Enhance! clinic, accessible on most settled worlds, to enter a Genetic Doohickeymatron that completely rejigs your bits and bobs. As in, you enter this thing a man and exit it, if you so desire, as a full-on, Reproductive Rights Activated full-bore woman. Or vice versa, of course.

The thing is, a bug occasionally strips you of your ability to use anything that has a trigger. Whether you're talking about your mining tool or one of your many firearms, you're locked plum out.

Your only option? To transition. Do a switcheroo on your cosmetics and pronouns and tada! Guns restored! Happy Moiderin', you nonbinary interstellar disaster, you!

I am 100% serious. This is probably the best, funniest and most absurd win for the Trans gaming community, and the best accidental fuck-you to the PRONOUNS IN MAH VIDYAGAEMS asshat that got his ass roasted online as of a few weeks back.
