forgot to post this here! i’ve been gone for a while but i’m back!! and with background studies too.
expect more of these in the future!!
decided to look at some references and do some 5 minutes sketches of buildings built in to mountain sides, primarily “Petra” to figure out a design for a building in a world building project I am currently working on. I am really trying to teach myself to draw architecture and environments and stuff so I just wanted to capture the general feel of each reference the basic shapes and design language.
I’ve been working on a design for the palace itself that I’ve done these studies for but it’s not finished yet ^_^
