Lord Wyrmtooth: Since you're working for us, you should follow our customs!

Hanako (kitsune bard): Actually, we’re not working for you. We’re a special unit with dispensation to work with autonomy.

Wyrmtooth: *gapes* I demand that you put the peasants down!

Billie (gnome ardent): Have you seen how many are camped out there?

Hanako: Here’s the sitch, sunshine. Shibanah is not sending an army.

Thaddeus (khajiit paladin): This is what you’ve got. Now work with it.

Hanako (kitsune bard): I’m so excited for when we kill all the oozes and we can form a bully circle around the zombie.

DM: It’ll never hit you. -2 from vicious mockery, -2 from Thaddeus’s mark, -5 from being prone...

Thaddeus (khajiit paladin): Just keep running around it. Every opportunity attack you provoke is 19 free radiant damage on it.

DM: Are you really going to give Kjell the helmet and let him put it on next week?

Adam (playing Billie): Yes. It will be hilarious.

Marijn (playing Godric): But I’m going to let him know out of character. Otherwise it’s kind of like a bully circle.

M (playing Kjell): Take the last one’s javelin off him, it’s only an opposed Strength check.

Hamish (playing Thaddeus): Yes! Bully circle!

M (playing Kjell): I succeed on my attempt to grapple Va'Aran on my second attempt.

Tati (playing Seraph): I tell him, "Here's what's going to happen. I'm going to take a lock of your hair. Kjell, hold him still."

DM: He struggles free and falls back into the middle of the circle since you have him surrounded.

Andy (playing Una): This is why you're not supposed to have large dnd parties. Bully circles are overpowered.

DM: There are so many reasons, but yeah.

Tati: I ask, "Are you going to let me cut your hair, or shall we beat the shit out of you and then take it off your unconscious body?"

M: I crack my knuckles.

DM: Va'Aran glares at you, but lets you snip a lock.

Tati: I use prestidigitation to make it glow briefly and say ominiously, "Now I'll always be able to find you."

Hamish (playing Thaddeus): Can you do that?

Tati: He doesn't know I can't.

DM: Make a Bluff check.

Tati: 37.

DM: Yeah, he believes you.

Tati (playing Seraph): I ask Va'Aran where he lives.

DM: He happily tells you where to find his house, not far from here.

Tati: Okay, I think we've got all the useful information out of him. Shall I drop the charm and we can finish things one way or another?

Hamish (playing Thaddeus): First let's make sure we're in a bully circle so he can't just run off. We have enough people to surround him.

DM: Alright, you've boxed him in. He says nervously, "Ah, what are you doing?"

Hamish: I try to grab him.

M (playing Kjell): Same.

Hamish: I miss.

M: Same.

DM: He finally makes his saving throw. He shakes his head slightly, then turns and glares at Seraph. "You- you were in my head! How dare you?" And he slaps you full across the face.

Tati: *grits teeth*

DM: He deals 14 damage to you.

M: *growls*

Tati: I say stiffly, "I probably deserve that."

Rach (playing Ashiok): "Uh, no?"

Tati: "But, point of interest. It's your own weakness of will that made you susceptible to my charm."

DM: He spits at you.

DM: At some point the injured adventurer gets fed up and leaves.

Hamish (playing Thaddeus): As he leaves I cast healing word on him.

DM: He jerks away. "What the hell did you do to me?"

Andy (playing Una): *mocking tone* Nooo, my street cred!

Hamish: "I healed you, you idiot."

DM: He growls and stamps away from you.

Adam (playing Billie): As he leaves I telepath to him. -This isn't even magic. It's just part of me and my awesomeness.-

DM: He walks faster.

Rach (playing Ashiok): As he leaves I put my hand on his arm and say-

DM: He flinches as if you've struck him and runs from the building.

Rach: I shout after him, "The world is bigger than you realise and you don't have to be angry about it!"

DM: He is gone! You all pounced on him, he's not here for it!
