When Teruya announced we were going for coffee, we didn't know what to think. Tsurugi and I wondered where we'd end up this time. Otori wouldn't say anything. We were supposed to find out everything on the spot. The only thing he told us was that everyone would be happy.
It turned out he'd decided to take us to a bunny cafe. I won't lie, seeing those little fluffy balls brought a smile to my face.
Surprisingly, there weren't many people in the place, so we could choose a spot that suited us. We ordered our usual: Tsurugi and I had black coffee, and Teruya had a sugar bomb. We also got a plate with carrot and apple slices to feed the little ones.
The bunnies must have sensed we had something for them, because several of them approached us. We each lifted one onto our laps and fed it. I have to admit, they were really adorable, especially when they wiggled their noses while eating. And they were really soft.
This meeting was probably one of the most peaceful we've ever had (certainly compared to the last two). And Teruya was right – we were all happy. When it was over, we didn't want to leave.
For now, this was our last outing together. We haven't discussed whether or when we could go anywhere. We managed to pull off these three outings, but now we have a few things to finalize. In my case, these are the final tasks for the Foundation, the trip, and then finalizing all the formalities with the director of Hope's Peak. But we'll definitely go somewhere again. Whether it's a café or some other place.
