𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🍔 Last week I visited @trumanssocialclub in Walthamstow which opened at the end of last year, but then was very quickly closed again due to lockdown 2. It’s tagline is London’s biggest beer hall, and I don’t doubt this, it’s MASSIVE. With a large indoor and outdoor space you’re covered for all types of weather. There’s both a brunch and an all day menu, and whilst I initially went for brunch I had a last minute change of heart and decided to go for a burger and other plates. This is the Club Cheeseburger; double beef patty, double American cheese, onions, pickles, and social sauce. I really liked this burger, the patty was a similar texture to Shake Shack and Studio Kitchen, that chewier (in a good way) kinda feel. I LOVED the spiced aubergine with a coconut yogurt and pomegranate. We also had the chicken social bowl which is a massive salad with a whole breaded chicken breast. The Dirty Fries was a massive portion too, topped with bacon bits, cheese sauce, crispy shallots, hot sauce and spring onion. I really enjoyed the food here and it’s a great space to work, meet with friends, chill out, or have a party.
