𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🍔 @honestburgers October special has only 10 days left! This month is a collaboration with @chukusldn, the worlds first Nigerian tapas restaurant. It’s a beef patty with Fanta-candied bacon, cheddar, jollof sauce, plantain crisps, Chuku’s spicy mayo, red onion, spinach and pickles. The burger is definitely full of texture with the slight crisp of the plantain and the chewiness of the candied bacon, plus a crunch from the red onion too. The jollof sauce and spicy mayo definitely dominate the taste of this burger, which means I didn’t get any of the Fanta which the bacon had been candied in, and I think a bit more cheese would have helped balance it too. But the sauces were really nice and gives you that slight heatwave throughout.
