Description

In Greek mythology, the moon goddess Selene was the lover of the mortal shepherd Endymion; but because of her lunar nature, their meetings could only take place at night. Nicolas Poussin has represented the poignant moment at which the two must part.

Len hadn’t noticed the woman running towards her, having been preoccupied by a book she picked up, until she was just a few feet away. She dropped the book, preparing for whatever would come next, and was surprised to see her leap off her feet towards her. With half a step back to stabilize herself, Len caught the woman in her arms, cradling her in her grasp. “Hello?” she said as if it were a question, looking down at the woman she carried.

Celia Rae grins wildly as the beautiful warrior woman catches her in her arms. Celia claps and kicks her feet with excitement. She destabilises herself in the woman’s grasp and needs to wrap her arms around the woman’s neck.

Celia Rae presses a kiss to the woman’s cheek and laughs. Its a throaty laugh that sounds hoarse and harsh. “You’re so strong and pretty!” Celia Rae exclaims. Her voice is a whisper as hoarse as her laugh. She presses another kiss to the woman’s cheek.

     Ili blinked a few times as they watched the individual in question recover. They thought they had some terrible wipe outs but that one looked especially bad. They supposed it was good that he was alright though.

     “My mistake,” Ili responded taking a sip from their own drink. “I don’t really come to event with this much... energy.”

There are some worlds that would occasionally pull at Gehenna. She would feel it echoing in her soul and when she does, she would don her armor and make the necessary preparations for a short journey. Most often than not, it would be a fight that would be waiting for her. But sometimes, it would be the call of a kindred spirit that was waiting to be uplifted into something more. With her sword sheathed on her waist and her handcannon holstered, she made the jump. 

For a moment, the air stilled in the immediate area. The shadows seem to come alive and they come together, building up into the tall figure of the Archdemon. The first thing she noticed was the abundance of trees. A forest? Woods? Lifting her head, she took in a whiff. Woods.

Well. It’s time to see what this world has to offer.
