Flower OC moodboard with “Don’t Care” by Temporex for Anonymous!
In which the MTA bus seats match my aesthetics
as a window seat enjoyer that is also tall, I am often faced with the dilemma of which comfort to indulge in. do I pick the window, which I can gaze out of and lean my side against? or do I pick the aisle seat? with much more room for my legs and therefore preventing my legs cramping?
decisions, decisions.
Shiny blue bus seats. You cramp my knees and touch my head, as your mistress growls beneath you. I miss your cousins of bright rainbow hue, who's brilliant patterns soothed me. Your brother, the lined floor, has your old skin - the crescent moon in gold, with blue stars behind, and the dark red of a supernova even further behind. Do you know I loved you once? I loved the newness, how you were clean, never grotty and full of dust. I felt fancy riding you. Shiny blue bus seats, did your plastic once hold brilliant colours? Material made to hide stains, and yet, I felt so happy seeing you. You're not new any more, your new pleather has cracks and dust hides in the corners. Your plastic scratched with names that I once carved into your colourful bretheren long ago. Do you know your cousins brought me joy? The excitement of your newness has long since passed me by. I long for the familiarity of bright colours, and busy patterns. Not the clean monotone you have become.
There is a now new form of abstract art that only applies to bus seats
