6. are your projects driven more by character or plot?

FWI was plot driven. WTB is more character driven, I think?

21. what are the most important facets of creating a character, to you?

What’s most important is the role I need filled and how well they do that.

I start with an image and type of dynamic I imagine they’d have with others. Then move on to personality. I find the personality ends up developing itself over time. So if the personality doesn’t fit the image or dynamic, I either adjust the former or change the personality. Depends on how strong I feel about one or the other.
