I'm not even joking when I say the team has fucked itself over so badly because only like 3 people can be productive at a time, and it's never the people that we really need to be productive.

The starters can't go more than 4 innings and are giving up early runs so the bullpen gets fucked. The top of the lineup cant hit or bring in runners so the bottom has to produce so they end up trying to over compensate and making stupid mistakes.

Everyone ends up crashing and we just continue the cycle because we can't get everyone in sync with actually playing well.

I saw that reblog about spam liking and I’m confused. Why is someone getting blocked because they enjoy your writing? They’re not doing anything wrong. Just reading and liking it.

I cant begin to explain how disheartening it is to work so hard on a piece of writing and get nothing in return. Simply “liking” a post doesn’t do anything for a writer. We all know it’s basically the equivalent to just a bookmark. It gives writers no feedback, no constructive criticism, no encouragement, no movement within the community to reach other readers, no ideas if it’s something more people want to see, nothing. And to be completely honest, readers not giving feedback is why 85% of fanfic writers (at least that I and many others had grown to love) are no longer writing on this platform - or are severely declining in numbers. It truly is not difficult to reblog someone’s writing that you really enjoyed and put a few words in the comments/tags. If there’s time to sit and read it and like it, there’s time to reblog and say “great job!” “loved this”. Writers are not asking for paragraphs upon paragraphs of feedback, just something. Because logging in after posting a piece of writing you’re extremely proud of, and seeing it has a bunch of notes, only to see that it looks like this “290 likes, 15 reblogs” doesn’t make writers want to continue. Authors shouldn’t have to beg

*making an edit on this because I would like to clarify that I do not block anyone for spam liking. I know of people who do but I do not. I just think it’s so important everyone remembers that reblogging is what is important. and ultimately what is best for authors other than feedback*

I am actually so sick of this house and my mom. I am actively drowning from school and responsibilities and doing my best to cope on my own but the only thing she can ever open her mouth about is my fucking room. It’s not even that bad, like it really isn’t. My room has been so bad before, like can’t even walk or lay in the bed bad and right now I just have a few things in my floor. I can’t ever do anything right. I was just telling her I was worried about going to college next fall and the first things she said was “well you’re going to have to have a roommate so you’re going to have to get your messiness under control” I AM ACTIVELY DROWNING IN A DEPRESSIVE EPISODE. I can’t function like a “normal” teenager no matter how smart I am I am DISORDERED. I AM HEAVILY TRAUMATIZED. I AM FUCKED UP IN THE HEAD, so forgive me if showering everyday and my room being spotless aren’t very acheivable for me. I AM ACTIVRLY TRYING TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS AND ALL SHE DOES IS YELL AT ME. Every time she comes in my room, no matter what I’m doing, she’s upset that it’s dirty. Every time I try to talk to her about ANYTHING it’s pulling teeth to get her to fucking listen because she’s fucking addicted to Facebook and has six plus hours of screen time a day while I STILL HAVE SCREENTIME LIMITS AT SEVENTEEN! MY TEACHERS ARE ACTUVELY AFVISING ME TO GET OUT OF MY HOME AS SOON AS I CAN AND GET ON MY OWN. I TELL HER SHE HURTS MY FEELINGS AND SHE HAS NOT INCE APOLOGIZED TO ME IN MY WHOLE LIFE. It’s always some shit with her. I feel insignificant when all I’ve been doing my whole life is working myself to the bone for her approval and attention. And now that the consequences of that have reared their heads, she’s being worse to me than she ever has. Next fall cannot come soon enough. I need out of this hellhole
