man, i was thinking about scary stories and how i kind of wanted to find some new ones but didn’t really have a way to find good ones or even halfway decent ones and i remembered candle cove, and like

it gets tossed around as a classic creepypasta a lot, and all the extensions of the story are absolutely shit, no doubt, but when disregarding those and just considering the original story, it really was just... Solidly Good.
