I just got this absolutely wonderful commission from @re-unknown for my desert AU fic (that I have a mildly unhealthy obsession with), Sands of Eternity.

OMG, I'm so in love with it. It's so pretty. Thank you so much to @re-unknown for bringing this scene to life. I've never done an art commission before and it came out so spectacular.

You basically got it right! They both recover from the shock quick and Apple just starts asking about how he feels and how the spell affected him. Sapphire would go ask the Bravegang for what they're planning and offer him and his sister's help for anything they need :)
