Not super interested in my top nine photos but here are definitely my top 5 favorite moments of the year. This last year has been a shit show for me in so many ways. Honestly it was more bad than good and the good seemed to be just a crutch to get through the awful. I made small jumps that I hoped would bring me out but at the end of summer I had to really just throw everything away and clean slate it. I have a great opportunity next year that I hope will make the last 3 months of pure Hell worth while and slowly I'm adjusting to my current situation. 2020 has a lot going on for me and I'm hoping it all works out the way I'm planning. Best Moments of 2019....no particular order 1: my first trip to @clevelandcuriosities for my birthday. 2: @odditiesfleamarket in Chicago! I can't wait to do this again! 3: meeting Butch Patrick. The Munsters were huge for me as a kid and adult so this was quite possibly the best moment of my year. 4: Yayoi Kusama's Fireflies on the Water. An experience I plan on repeating. Art was always very important in my life but there's something about being literally inside a piece that makes it that much more... 5: THE NAKED DRESS!!!! This was a huge accomplishment for me. I've always been my biggest hater and critic when it comes to my body and to be able to not only buy something this incredibly showstopping but take it down the busiest street of Chicago in it...well...it was a moment. Guys I walked around Chicago in my underwear and holy shit, I didn't cry or run! Also the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra was pretty cool. #2019 #clevelandcuriosities #odditiesfleamarket #butchpatrick #themunsters #eddiemunster #yayoikusama #firefliesonthewater #nakeddress #kingdomheartsorchestra #cleveland #chicago https://www.instagram.com/p/B6vP355lsX8/?igshid=13u3nzeo4t75x

Butch Patrick Live on Game Changers with Vicki Abelson
What a fun chat with Butch Patrick, aka Eddie Munster, who’s warm, easy and so comfortable in his skin that it’s impossible to not feel like an old friend coming home. Butch makes everyone in his path feel seen, heard, and important. What a gift.
We talked about current events… living in Arkansas, his Munster Mobiles, getting out and meeting his fans, his girlfriend, how they met, and how they keep it going. And we went back… how a 7 yr old got his start in film, had a career in TV, and at the age of 10, a starring role on one of the most iconic and endearing television shows of all time. Thank goodness Bill Mumy took a pass. There are no accidents. This was Butch’s path.
We talked Fred Gwynne, Al Lewis, Yvonne De Carlo, The Cowsills, and The Monkees, and his amazing episode and time shooting with them at the height of all of their fame.
There were crazy days and trouble. Pot, booze, and drugs, and then, 13 years ago, getting sober. Butch’s ease and commitment to his sobriety, and helping others. It’s a beautiful thing.
The upside of the pandemic is that it led the way to interview celebrity gems who live far away. I hope one day to meet Butch in the reals and feel his great energy sans a screen between us, but I’m grateful as hell for these opportunities to spend time getting to know this once boy who gave this girl so much childhood joy, and as a man, moves through the world with so much kindness and grace.

Today LIVE! Synonymous with Eddie Munster, Butch Patrick is all that and a hefty bag of Cheetos. We had a great conversation a few years ago, getting real and going deep. From his very early career beginnings, and successes to life’s challenges and his resurrection.
Butch made his film debut in The Two Little Bears, opposite Eddie Albert and Jane Wyatt. His resume is a time capsule of my youth, having guest starred on Ben Casey, Bonanza My Favorite Martian, Mister Ed Rawhide, The Real McCoys, and General Hospital.
Post the Munsters, Eddie guest starred on I Dream of Jeannie, Gunsmoke, The Monkees, Adam-12, he appeared in several Disney films, and had the starring role in the children’s series, Lidsville, opposite Charles Nelson Reilly.
Butch turned to music, and the bass, recording, Whatever Happened to Eddie Munster, and It’s Only Halloween, with his band, Eddie and The Monsters.
There was an appearance on The Simpsons and in Dickie Roberts Former Child Star.
Recently Butch appeared in a Munsters reboot, starred in the thriller, River Beauty, and currently Butch has a number of ghoulish projects in the hopper. We’ll be catching up!
The Munsters played a major role in my daily joy as a kid, always grateful for a chance to say thank you and better know Eddie. Um… Butch!
