Ok so I've been watching Vanity Fair right? It was mainly just because Mr Baynton was in it but that's not the point
And I've been really hooked, I really recommend it but anyway...
This scene popped up
It was so surreal, SO surreal seeing Mat's character's name on a gravestone cuz I've never seen one of his characters' names engraved on something like that.
And it felt like Mat was actually dead fsr to me. (The feeling was terrible 😥)
Aside from that, Bute's death genuinely shocked and saddened me. He and Rawdon had seemingly just started to have a caring brotherly relationship and we also started to see some sweet moments between them.
I'd like to think that Bute died from grief over his brother's death since it seems like they really did care for and love each other deep down. But idk how he really died, I haven't read the book (yet).
Anyways, there are my late night thoughts for tonight 💫
Bute Crawley is like an extended version of the Puritan who calls his wife a sinful Jezebel in Historical Wife Swap, and I am here for it.

Even more excited for Vanity Fair than I already was.
