A frog! This is my first time making a doll (or even a toy) but I was watching Nikki at Pin Cut Sew make them and just had to try it for myself. With the materials I already had at home, I only spent $5 on a doll needle and stuffing. The button eyes came from my grandma’s button box and were just perfect. I will be taking this little friend to work.

my Button Box! i went a little overboard, but, frankly, i dont regret it. the Black, White, Brown, Blue, and Green were all sorted into their own slots: 4 holes, 2 holes, back loop, and my favorites. i didnt have enough space or enough buttons to warrant it w the other colors

green is unfortunately not a popular button color so i cherish the ones i do have. the scalloped one is so delicately pretty. thats great plant in that leaf button! its very nicely done. i promise the dark one is a rich jewel tone in person
