Ryan and Shane have been working side by side for so long, Ryan can feel him rolling his eyes, even though he doesn’t see it. Ryan groans internally. Not too long ago, he’d have been right there with Shane, snickering at Steven’s overly involved business management strategies — just some light teasing, from a place of love, mind you; they both know they could never run Watcher without him.
Now, however.
Now, Ryan is actually endeared by Steven’s efforts, rather than amused. He can’t wait to spend a weekend in the woods, away from the bustle of the city, away from all the obligations of work.

Shane rolls his eyes fondly as he clicks ‘Attending’. Steven had discussed the idea of a team bonding weekend with him and Ryan first, of course. He had sent them the budget spreadsheets and timetables beforehand, but Shane foolishly didn’t expect it to happen so soon or so formally.
Papa Lim getting shit done! Ryan texts him. Shane looks up to see Ryan grinning at him, probably thinking the same thing as him. Shane snickers. He loves Steven, don’t get him wrong. It’s just funny how different their methods are, is all.
