okay im actually gonna riot if one more Mileven tells me that i'm looking too deeply into the show because i have "bias".

these are so obvious but only because this stuff is confirmed. Max DID indeed meet her fate in the Creel house. Will IS indeed affected by Vecna in that specific spot on his body. but me theorizing about possible foreshadowing is not okay? that suddenly i'm reaching? reaching, when this show has time and time again told me to remember every detail? that it's crucial information?

i can't express how much i need the duffer brothers/others that worked on the show to explain in interviews all the foreshadowing byler had. all the parallels. because i need the milevens and general audience to know that byler has been inevitable since season 1, and they weren't just rushed or pressured from the fans. and i need us to know that we aren't crazy.

**“I had a dream about Mike and Will, and it felt like a hidden scene from Stranger Things 5.”**

In the dream, Mike appeared as his Season 2 self, standing in a grassy park. Suddenly Troy tackled him, yelling slurs, like: -Fuck you Wheeler! You should be dead just like your friend! Fag! while Will shouted from afar, reaching the scene to help Mike saying Troy: -Stop! Troy, stop you're hurting him! STOP! LEAVE HIM ALONE! -powerless to stop it.

Then the scene shifted: two other kids appeared, one in yellow, the other in blue. They called each other *Tom* and *Jerry*, mirroring Mike and Will’s bond —

Jerry: Tom, are you okay?

Tom: Jerry.. I'm fine...

-both hurt by the world, yet connected in a way only they could understand.

And then... a twist.

We see Mike from Season 4 watching it all, invisible, like a spectator in his own memory. He realizes the pattern: he and Will, always carrying the same wound.

The camera zooms out. First, it shows a beautiful field of grass and flowers — yellow and red. But as it pulls further away, the tone changes: clouds gather, light fades. The field is revealed to be... a **cemetery**(the reality where season 5 Mike and the group are)

Now it’s present day. Mike, older, stands with the group (El, , Dustin, Lucas) like looking at where they truly are (the cementary) idkw. Showing us El grabbing some flowers while Mike and the boys are just looking the place like studying it. And in that moment, it’s as if he (Mike) finally understands: the compass was never broken, it was pointing to Will all along.

✨ Honestly, this dream reads like the ultimate metaphor for Mike’s inner arc: confronting pain, recognizing his bond with Will, and realizing love can bloom even in the shadow of loss. Realizing what has been always there, but he always deny to see it or didn't see it, until here.

I'm back on my shit again about how this

Could have TOTALLY been the final shot. She's the fan favorite, she's a badass, she's their main warrior, she's angry that her hometown that she finally got to call home is being taken away, and she's ready to fight: fight for those people standing behind her - her family.

They even already had their Byler shot before this. They got it in otherwise.

In fact, I distinctly remember fully expecting it to be the final shot. I was anticipating the credits hit RIGHT. HERE. It would have been totally badass and 100% worked.

But they couldn't pass up the foreshadowing, could they. They couldn't pass up it being the final shot.

*also, for the record, we had already been shown the destruction so this wasn't for the purposes of ending on a reveal of what she was looking at.

It's the number of things they could have made Byler endgame without for me. They aren't just doing it. They're adding things. They're not just writing it, they're loving writing it.
