Stranger Things is my favorite show and I have been watching since season 3! That's also around the time I started liking Byler because Mileven was showing too much PDA and i lwk hate PDA.

I'm 16 and my fav characters are the core four, Joyce, Eleven, and Erica (not in any particular order).

I like making Stranger Things theories, and have loved doing so since first watching the show. I just haven't gotten a Tumblr acc until right now :P

I want to state this as clearly as possible: it was never about a goddamn ship.

from the moment I joined you guys, it was never about mike and Will getting together, it was always about something else.

it was about turning an “everybody” show into queer rep and showing people that us queer people are worthy of a story just like anybody else.

it was about my homophobic acquaintances who never understood why it was important in the first place.

it was for the little girl who, never having had representation in her childhood, realized queerness was an actual thing in middle school.

it was about the girl in middle school who got called slurs as a “joke” (bc everybody did that at the time) and about the girl who was basically told to get back into the closet after she came out.

it was about the people who always felt like nobody could understand them growing up.

and Netflix really said “fuck these people, we just want the money” and took advantage of a psychological need that had every single right to exist, just to get more money. and to me that sucks.

once again, us queer people are left to feel safe just in our own spaces, and I hope that every single cent they got from this horrible finale gets spent as a way to cope with the same loneliness I’ve been feeling for years.

the fact the duffer brothers gave noah the painting, which was a reminder of will's unrequited love being used to uplift a poorly written and toxic relationship between two people who NEVER truly understood each other and didn't even end up together, as a wrap gift is straight up cruel and spiteful and heartless by the way. "what more could you want?" they dared asking noah about will's story when they hadn't even planned to write will and mike's "closure" scene and noah had to fight for that, for the BARE MINIMUM. fuck them and their homophobic asses.
