I genuinely love the fact that Will’s love isn’t that soft, lovey-dovey teenage kind like “oh he’s so handsome, I can’t take it” or “he could never do anything wrong.” Instead, it’s more like: “bro… what do I even see in this guy.” Will doesn’t hesitate to call Mike out on his bad behavior. He allows himself to be disappointed, hurt, even angry. And still — he stays. He would stand by Mike to the very end, be the one to point out his mistakes and work through them with him, not ignore them. Because he loves all of Mike. Even when he questions why he loves this dude who wanted a hot orange mohawk. And yes — he’d still love him with that thing on his head
That kind of love is honest. It’s strong. It’s messy. And it’s real
He is so done with this man but still loves him
