byrgenwerth - bloodborne
my personal favorite mini series from my final project on dreams and nightmares, the abandoned greenhouse. I designed all the props for this one either from plants I got from my yard or things I built. I didn't intend it but this one reminds me a bit of byrgenwerth
edit: bit of advice if you are viewing on mobile, turn your brightness up for these
To Fracture, To Bloom
Before the endless night of the hunt, there was the Healing Church. Before the Healing Church, there was Byrgenwerth and a group of scholars who sought to elevate humanity beyond its own design. This is a recollection of the time before—before Yharnam became less of a city and more of a tomb, before scholars and clergy grew horns and sharp teeth, and before the blood moon descended. This is a story of brilliant minds, crippling devotion, and the slow, irreversible collapse of a community from within, leaving nothing behind but blood and beasts.

a/n: This game is the single most important piece of art in my life, and this story has been three years in the making … started, rewritten, scrapped, restarted, rewritten again. This story is my interpretation of the terror that came before the fall of Yharnam and the Healing Church. The beauty of Bloodborne is in its cryptic storytelling, and a world that shows instead of tells—I hope that anyone who reads this enjoys my attempt at filling the spaces in between.

Your moodboards are so nice. I'm so glad I'm following your blog. Could you make a moodboard for a Byrgenwerth student in Bloodborne? (Without lovecraftian horror please, because that's not what Bloodborne is about for me, it's victorian medical horror.)
