I think that Life Series Mumbo is SO interesting okay?
One of his first experiences as a red life was getting basically exiled by the people who he thought were his friends. Afterwards, he broke back into their base, trapped it, and generally just went on desperate attempts to try to kill them
Like when he met up with Jimmy and wanted to kill the rest of their team, ESPECIALLY Grian, presumably so that they could be red lives together.
And then there's the way that when Grian, the man who had now killed one of the only friends he had left and was coming for him next, called out for him to come back, he did.
Mumbo then died to the hands of his best friend.
For the rest of the seasons you could see how he was affected by the treatment in Last Life, too
In Secret Life? The moment he turned red, he started trying to kill the rest of his team for tasks, not understanding why they were trying to help him when they noticed what was happening. Mumbo ended up being just seconds away from dying first that time. Indirectly killed by Grian, again.
For Wild Life, he was constantly accusing people of betraying the team, and of course there was the quote "I'm all the friend that you need." Now that he knew he could have a team that stays with him, he didn't want to lose it. Mumbo ended up being the first one dead again, but this time? His friends stayed with him through every life. He died with them by his side, by his OWN hands.
And then he STILL ended up getting the most kills out of anyone that season.
Mumbo never got to see how he was mourned after any of his deaths.
I think its interesting how the main driving force for Life Series Mumbo seems to be loneliness, especially since he's usually characterized as a more reserved and solitary person by much of the community.
So much so that he snuck into Past Life as well, a season he wasn't even supposed to be in.
I really hope that Mumbo comes back for the next season and I'm SUPER excited to see how he is going to play it if he does.
...will he die first again though? Yeah probably
