Richard always had an affinity for animals. He always found himself usually drawn more to them than he is to people and it might just be because unlike people, animals are simple beings with simple desires. Regardless, this particular trait of him had led him to his current destination. After his encounter with Sutton the other week, he’d asked the man if he could volunteer for the clinic. Fortunately, the man was graceful enough to allow him and so, the following Saturday, he’d drove towards the address he was given. Coming inside he had talked to the receptionist on duty and asked if he could see Dr. Sutton. As he had been told, he took a seat at the lobby so he could wait for the man.

“Oh...” Dick blinked slowly as he saw Sutton tip toe while they were hanging out in the park, just walking around and enjoying the rare Chicago sun. He paused and stayed still as he felt Sutton slip in a flower in between his ear and he smiled a soft smile. “Do I look pretty now?”

“Hey, mind if I join?” It wasn’t a question as much as it is a suggestion. Seeing as Richard was already naked save the towel which he dropped seconds later, he stepped inside the cubicle and crowded on Sutton as hot water began to cascade all over him, trickling down from his broad shoulders down to his chest and even further down. “You feeling good?” He asked the man, but didn’t let him answer quick enough as he tilted Sutton’s head and gave him yet another swift kiss. It seemed to be something they’ve been doing a lot lately and Richard seems to not mind, at all.

Dick had been at the clinic for a little over two weeks now and so far it’s going great. It was one afternoon when a dog had to be put down because of old age that he found himself by the bench outside the establishment, taking his break. He saw that Sutton had come out, looking a little worse for wear. He knew that he was the one who had to accomplish the disheartening task and so, without saying anything, he scooted a bit to the side and looked up, offering a silent invite for the man to sit beside him.

Casey: Hey, question, how long have you been dating the mayor?

Arya was thrashing her paintbrush across her canvas with reckless abandon, occasionally stopping to dip her brush back into the paint before dicing back in. The painting in front of her was a muted and dark sepia color, the strokes all bleeding together as she worked. Her teeth were gritted together and her hair was in a messy bun. She didn’t hear Sutton come in as she worked, her eyes glued to her work.
