He was gone again. Jackson. He hadn’t been in town long but after he had healed from his accident he had to leave once again, only this time he had given Chloe warning.. given her a goodbye but no promise of when he would return. It wasn’t much easier than the first time he had left despite the wall Chloe had built up in the five years she had grieved the absence of his presence. The only thing she knew was she didn’t want to cry about it anymore, she had done enough of that and she swore she would never fall back into the emptiness that had consumed her because she realised now more than ever, she wasn’t alone and she never had been. She had so many people who were there for her and now that she wasn’t so blinded by pain she could see it clearly this time. Making her way up to the front door of the Hastings Household, Chloe took a deep breath before knocking on the door, waiting for Dash to open it before she stepped forward without a word and wrapped her arms around him, burying her face in his chest. “Sorry.. I just needed to hug my best friend for a minute.” she mumbled.
