It had only been a few days since Mia had come back to Pyro Hills and slowly she was warming up to it once again; although it was unseasonably cold even for this time of the year. Briskly, to blend into the other humans scurrying to reach their heated offices, Mia walked down the main road— a coffee in one hand and her camera over her shoulder.
After spending so many weeks on the road, she didn't feel like being confined to her apartment so she wanted to get some shots of the white city. The late winter sun peeked around the looming concrete buildings and made her squint— sun blaring in your eyes was a little uncomfortable for humans let alone vampires so without looking properly Mia went to cross the road, but in a flash she was knocked back as a result of the ice slicked road and a particularly beautiful car.
