LATELY naomi found herself buried in her textbooks inside the library more often than ever before. it was an easy distraction, a good excuse for cancelling on plans, and typically she didn’t have to talk to anyone for the entirety of her study session. she even managed to shut her phone off this time, effectively shutting off all contact with the outside world. it was just her and her history textbook, the one that consumed her and spit her back out as she tried to force herself to memorize more dates than she could handle. the shadow that enveloped her startled her and she jumped, against her own will, looking up with an eyebrow arched. she sighed heavily when she realized just who was interrupting her, the LAST person she wanted to see right now. “go away, alex,” she mumbled, looking back down at her book, scrawling something unreadable in her notes. @alexandcrjamcs
