Amelia, thankfully, was always an early morning riser. So when Sam stopped by that morning to drop off Joshua, Amelia was already awake. Now, Amelia loved her four-year-old son more than anything in existence. Joshua was her pride and joy, the light of her life.

But Amelia had her one-night-stand slumbering away in her room still... She didn’t want Joshua to see him. Amelia and Joshua’s father were no longer together. Hadn’t been for over a year, but this was the first time Amelia had... Well, could a one-night-stand count as a date?

While Amelia was talking with Sam with first begging her friend to keep her son for a couple more hours, Joshua had gotten bored waiting on the couch and decided to get his teddy from mom’s room. Joshua last remembered the teddy bear up on the bed, so that’s where the child went. He just didn’t expect to see a man here. Who was he? Joshua certainly didn’t remember ever meeting him before. And why was he here? Why wasn’t he in the other room where his ‘Uncle’ Sam or ‘Uncle’ Johnny slept? Why was he in Mommy’s bed?

Curious, Joshua stumbled over, sitting down on the man looking down at him quizzically.

“Jake?” Dove whined as she pulled the blanket from her head, “Can you come here please?” She called reaching for her glass of water as she laid in bed after being sick all morning. “Can you make a doctors appointment for me?” The blonde asked once her husband reached their room.

“Alex!” The very pregnant Dove called out from the new baby’s nursery where she sat on the floor. As Dove waited for her husband she placed her hands on her stomach as she looked at the instructions for the crib that she had tried and failed to build one last time.

Dove had gotten a text from her boyfriend asking her to meet him at his apartment at three that day. Unsure of what was going on the blonde was pretty nervous as she walked to the familiar building. Knocking on his door Dove smiled up at him when he opened the door, “Hi babe.” She chirped happily looking up at Arrow trying to hide how nervous she was.

“Pete!” Myka called out, walking into the Warehouse, looking around for her partner. “Pete! We got a new case!” she added, wandering down an aisle, idly glancing around at the different artifacts on the shelves.

Date Night [Cain/Amelia]

All three of the munchkins were with a babysitter, giving Cain and Amelia a free night, even though Amelia kept nervously checking her phone every five minutes to make sure there wasn't a text message from Sam with something bad happening to the children. It was her first night completely away from her newborn, so she was extra anxious.

They were out for dinner and a movie, something light, just to have fun. And truly, Amelia was having fun, was enjoying the chance to be out with her husband, but she was still worried about their children. Hell, their appetizers hadn’t even arrived at their table yet, and this was the sixth time she was checking her phone.
