Dudley had been making an effort. He wasn't great at staying out of trouble, but he'd been getting better at ignoring the nutcases. Still, odd old men in weird clothes still gave him the creeps, especially when combined with blantant use of magic, and he only lasted so long before moving closer and hissing, "Do you really have to do that sort of thing around normal people?"
