Everything set... ready.... steady... go!
Willpower..
Need... willpower... to get up and go running...
Running, no one will find me...
I’m making the best of what has not been the greatest week. I worked 12-hour days yesterday and today and that is just rough. Yesterday I was less than 1000 steps from my step goal and I wound up pacing around the house until I hit it. I was supposed to hit the gym this morning. I set the alarm for 4:15 and then … woke up at 6. D’oh!
But I brought a change of clothes, left my evening meeting, and went straight to the gym. One of my goals is to run a 5k this year and last year I started doing a Run5K app. Today I completed the program (week 8 day 3). Mind you, I did not actually run the 3.1 miles but I’m only off by about a half a mile. If I keep at it I know I will get there. I’m not a fast runner, especially when it comes to longer distances but that’s okay. I’m still faster than people sitting on the couch!
Here is the Couch to 5k app I used: Run 5k - interval training coach + stretch program by Felt Tip Inc. https://appsto.re/us/N04Rs.i
