And no, I don’t want to hear “it’s a comic title” or “but marvel was created by Jews” because Jews have always had issues with that title and creation by Jews does not mean goyim get a free pass later on. I’m really tired of seeing casual antisemitism in fandoms i want to feel safe in. It especially sucks considering everything the concept of Captain America stands for, and considering this is supposed to be a movie about Sam Wilson and it’s already being overshadowed by controversy because these people couldn’t take five seconds to come up with a less shitty title. I’m currently thinking about Misty Knight possibly being in Cap 4 and possibly being Sam’s love interest, and if that happens I might just swerve into shipping Sam/Misty/Bucky- (which isn’t really already a ship and I’m a little disappointed) -because I think that ship would be incredibly cute and fun to both read and write.

Like Sam obviously has a type, cute people with a metal arm and I already have a fic idea with these three that I think would be amazing if someone or I wrote it and it involves Bucky being head over heels in love with Sam AND Misty.

I’ll always ship SamBucky and I’ll ship SamMisty too, but basically what I am saying is, let Sam be happy with his metal armed partners, that is all.

Plus another black character (especially a black women) getting love is always a win

ever since the d23 panel, i've been thinking, and i feel like my ideal situation for cap 4 re: bucky is this

he doesn't show up at all for the main runtime of the movie. maybe he's mentioned here and there, but he's physically absent, so sam really gets to have the spotlight and the movie can truly be about him, no distractions

then we get to the post-credits scene. sam's in delacroix, sitting on the dock at sunset, staring out at the water. then bucky appears, sits next to him, passes him a beer. both have visibly just gotten done with some big fight. sam's, obviously, we've just seen, but in bucky's case, it's still unknown

they talk a little about whatever the plot that just happened was, then eventually, sam asks "what the hell happened to you?"

bucky pauses, opens his mouth, and then cut to black:
