#cactus thoughts

I think this outs me at least a little bit as the child of an aging megafandom (it's Naruto, it's always been Naruto and always will be) but my favorite stage of fandom I feel will always be like, years after the zeitgeist, when things have slowed down, the source material is largely complete, and the fandom has matured into its bearings and it's offerings.

And I guess new fandoms are also fun and exciting and they've got good energy and the mysteries of unfinished fandoms yet to come, but as a reader what a treat it is to get into something and find a 15 year backlog y'know? And as a writer also what a treat to be able to dig in and not have to invent everything from scratch too y'know?

The funniest thing that has ever happened while I was present on this hell-app I call home, is the fact that so many people currently want to get dicked down by Santa Claus.
